You know when you start up a conversation with someone and they ask, “Hey! How’s everything going??” And you respond, “Fine!” or “Good!” or maybe even plaster that genuinely fake smile across your face and say, “Great! Never better!” and quickly move away from focusing on how things really are?

You want to believe that things are “fine” or “great”, but you know underneath that they are anything but. Really, you’re stressed, anxious, exhausted, afraid, stretched too thin, hurting, depressed, lonely,... or any other myriad of emotions.

You know you can’t allow yourself to be honest about how you’re doing, because to feel what’s really going on under the surface might open the floodgates of emotion that you know you can’t hold back. So you go through life in “fine” mode. Staying busy and distracted, disillusioned that this state is real, and everything else is all in your head.

Except it’s not.

It’s all in your body - in your nervous system. And your nervous system always wins. Driving behaviors, moods, outbursts, unhealthy relationships, addictions, self sabotage, staying small, and whatever else is holding you back from actually feeling peace, having joy, and enjoying your own life.

It can seem scary - this overwhelm is often riddled with shame and guilt, but I carefully create a safe space of acceptance and compassion, where you get to be validated in YOUR experiences - often for the first time in your life.

I hold space for you to experience your emotions while bringing in modalities that allow you to feel and process them slowly, safely, and practically painlessly. So you can witness and heal those wounded parts of you that have never been seen, freeing you to step out of the pain of the past and into the present in ways that aren’t just tolerable, but actually enjoyable!

You’ll never have to fake a “fine” again! I can’t promise that everything will be fine, but I can say that no matter what you are feeling, you will be able to tolerate it. And that’s a freedom that most people don’t get to enjoy.
